Text Box:   The horsebox has been built by Bettany Horseboxes, a local Staffordshire business with nineteen years experience in horsebox manufacture. The chassis was registered in Nov 2002 and was previously owned by the transport company Ryder and has been regularly serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements. The horse area floor is made of two timber layers with a rubber latex surface coating. There are five window vents in the horse area. The roof throughout the box is insulated with solid foam which also reduces noise whilst travelling. The split charging system allows the leisure battery to be continuously charged when the engine is running therefore ensuring a fully charged battery is available when the final destination is reached. A 240V hookup and gas provide other energy sources. Access to the engine is available from the living area and the rear ramp can be comfortably raised and lowered by one person due the the heavy duty, adjustable springs.
